A Word from Steve Harvey
When The Walt Disney Company approached me about partnering to create Disney Dreamers Academy, I knew we were going to start something special because it shared the same goal that inspired me to start The Steve Harvey Foundation and The Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men — giving young people the tools they need to realize their dreams.
I truly believe that dreaming is more important than anything. Dreams fuel our imaginations, inspire our passions, and make the impossible come to life right before our eyes. They are extremely powerful and we should do all we can to help young people get the right opportunities to make their dreams come true. Disney Dreamers Academy helps our youth make their dreams come true. And I encourage everyone to explore the program and see what Disney Dreamers Academy is all about. You'll discover that with the right support our children will not only have the tools they need to become overachievers, they'll also bring their passion back to our communities and inspire others to reach for their dreams too.

Now in its sixth year, the Disney Dreamers Academy program continues its dedicated mission to providing a youth with an opportunity to learn how they can harness the power of their dreams. Through life-enriching interactive workshops and motivational talks, Disney Dreamers Academy gives the Dreamers inspiration to explore the countless possibilities they may never have even imagined and the tools they need to jumpstart turning their dreams into reality.
In this powerful four-day program, the Dreamers engage in a wide range of experiences while working hand and hand with community and industry leaders, dedicated Disney Cast Members and some of today's top celebrities. From slicing and dicing with a master chef to bringing illustrations to life with a real Disney animator, our young Dreamers not only learn how to motivate themselves, but also how to inspire their friends, families and communities.
