Program Questions

The Academy was founded in 2008 to give students with a dream the tools it takes to let their potential shine through.

This is a 4-day event for 100 select students at Walt Disney World Resort. Here, Disney Dreamers interact with Disney Cast Members, celebrities, industry experts and community leaders through:
  • Inspirational talks
  • Immersive career activities
  • Networking and interviewing experience

Disney Dreamers get to enjoy the fun of Walt Disney World theme parks—and even to explore the magic behind the scenes.

To apply, you must be a U.S. high school student (grades 9 through 12) between the ages of 13 and 19 at the time of the event. See complete rules.

Disney Dreamers Academy takes place in a magical setting at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida. Conducted on stage and behind the scenes, the theme parks become vibrant "classrooms" where Dreamers imagine bright futures, make exciting discoveries and learn how to put their plans into action.

Disney Dreamers are creative, eager to learn and dedicated to pursuing their dreams with passion. If you have what it takes and you are between the ages of 13-19, you live in the United States of America and you are enrolled in high school grades 9-12 when entering, apply here!

Disney Dreamers Academy delivers stellar educational experiences, including interactive career workshops, motivational talks and networking opportunities, all designed to motivate young students to dream big. Dreamers meet Disney cast members, celebrities, industry experts and community leaders showcasing a myriad of career disciplines. Dreamers also have the opportunity to explore the magic behind the scenes and have free time to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

The next Disney Dreamers Academy will take place in Spring 2024 at Walt Disney World Resort. The program also offers online content and local events throughout the year to inspire and encourage all students to achieve their dreams.

During the application window, students must register online at https://disneydreamersacademy.com/be-a-dreamer/apply/, answer all essay questions, complete the parents' consent form and submit an application before the deadline. Students must apply directly. Mentors/parents will not be allowed to submit essays on behalf of the students.

Selected participants and one parent or guardian will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World Resort, where they will engage in life-changing experiences and enjoy Disney's magical theme parks. Once selected, participants must pass all eligibility requirements and attend the 4-day Disney Dreamers Academy during the designated weekend at Walt Disney World.
